collaboration with Ron Aard Architects, London
The new building includes 9500 sq.m. of medical and treatment facilities arranged in three terraced stories; functions include radiation, radiotherapy, children’s care, breast health center, clinics and chemotherapy treatment, alternative medicine, research, and administration. Moreover, 200 underground parking spots for patients will be added in the near future.
The low building is integrated into the surrounding topography and vegetation, with emphasis on multiple facades and ample windows allowing for natural daylights and views. Different types of pergolas shade the building naturally and soften the transition between inside and outside spaces.
