Situated by the Pingyao ancient district, the center sits on a 40 acre lot of urban park. The program includes a culture center, conference facility, children’s museum, elderly center, city library, and performance hall. Adjacent to the center is a stadium housing 3500 visitors, a hall for 1250 visitors, and Olympic pool. The project was designed in collaboration with Mochly-Eldar’s Beijing office and VBN landscape architects, Beijing.
